Net-A-Porter / Net Sustain

Conscious fashion, designed with restraint.

Building on a wider redesign of the Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter iconography suites, the Net Sustain sub-brand needed something even more bespoke: a set of symbols for consciously minded customers, without falling into the usual eco clichés.

Net Sustain offers customers a carefully curated selection of products across fashion, beauty and homeware. Each piece chosen for meeting at least one of its key attributes, from lower-impact materials to responsible craftsmanship and circular design.

As part of the Net-a-Porter family, the symbols needed to feel just as premium, intuitive and elegant as the UI suites I had designed before. Clear enough to guide a choice. Quiet enough to let the products shine.

Traditional sustainability metaphors were redrawn through a less obvious lens. Informative without feeling worthy. Innovative without stealing the show.

A thoughtful system for a thoughtful sub-brand. Built to carry meaning with the same lightness, care and restraint as the products they represent.
